The Meeple’s Final Adventure

The Meeple’s Final Adventure

All good things must come to an end.

Eighteen months ago the global pandemic forced us to close the Malted Meeple, for what we thought was the final time. The circumstances and speed of that closure never sat well with us, and thankfully a year ago we were able to reopen and resume operations.

We have been grateful for the last year as it has provided us the opportunity to spend more time with you, our wonderful guests. But as much as we have enjoyed this extra time in our shared adventure, Pam and I have decided that it is time for the Meeple, like all good things, to come to an end. There are a variety of reasons for this decision, but chief amongst them is that we have other adventures we wish to pursue and other roads we wish to travel.

The bad news is that the Malted Meeple is closing. The good news is that we have the opportunity to close in a manner more fitting of our grand seven year adventure. We intend to fill our final month of operations with a myriad of exciting events. Stay tuned for details of milkshake tastings featuring the most popular shake flavors from the past seven years, unique one shot role playing adventures, and a Final Farewell party.

We will also be taking this opportunity to support one of our favorite charities. All month long we will be featuring a brand new shake, The Longest Day Lemonberry Shake. One dollar from the sale of each of these shakes will go to the Alzheimer’s Association in support of The Longest Day fundraising drive. Beginning mid-month, we will also be placing numerous items from our collection of décor, memorabilia, and gaming gear up for sale. If you want to take home a piece of the Meeple, you can bid on these items during our Final Farewell event, scheduled for June 25th. If there is a particular piece of the Meeple that is of importance to you, avoid the auction and purchase it at a special Buy It Now price during the month. Proceeds from these sales will also go to support the Alzheimer’s Association.

So join us throughout the month of June for the Meeple’s Final Adventure. Stop in to use up your Game Passes, enjoy a final shake or beer, pick up a souvenir glass, shirt or growler, and most importantly, embark on one last adventure with your friends from the Malted Meeple!
